Amelia is Head of Operations for Hiringa Energy. With 15 years experience across production operations and operations leadership, the majority of her experience came from managing oil and gas production facilities both in New Zealand and internationally.
Her senior leadership roles in the energy industry have seen her develop and execute operations, maintenance and HSSE strategies across production facilities. She has a passion for emissions reduction and has led low carbon initiatives in her previous roles in industry.
As a board member on the Young Energy Professionals Network (a member committee of the NZ Business Energy Council) and founding member of the Taranaki branch, Amelia also mentors women studying Engineering and pursuing careers in industry.
Amelia studied at the University of Auckland and holds a Bachelor of Chemical and Materials Engineering.
